Just FYI, the Razor survived like a champ and after all that ice melted off it and temps got above freezing on Monday, we started it up and 71 cars went through it.
I agree. The purpose of the Profile is to use the brush system; and the Razor for a touchless. That's we have both; and the customers have a choice. Our lowest pkg. just does 1 pass; and the others all do 2 on both both machines.
We now have 2 bays -- one with a Profile and one with a Razor. We offer all 4 of our pkgs. on both machines. The Razor was just recently installed, having gone into service in early Sept. So far, we are still seeing more use of the Profile than the Razor. But this is South Texas and those...
Not sure how to do PM's, but you are welcome to email me at cheetahcarwash@gmail.com and I'll send you a copy of the Business Plan I used to get the SBA Loan that got Cheetah Express started in 2016.
Have always thought it would be cool to occaisionally have someone doing windshield ding repair on-site, and recently met someone who does that. Have any of you had this set up at your site? My question is what type of financial arrangement is usually made with these people? Is it a set fee...
We have been operating a single bay IBA in a small town in South Texas since 2016. Since 2018, we had a WW Profile averaging 1600/month. We just finished adding a 2nd bay with a Razor and the monthly count has increased dramatically. We're not quite at double the count, but look to be around...
I have both our Profile and new Razor on the WashWorld apps, E-Catcher and Viejo, using my cell phone with Verizon and haven't had any problems with connecting or downloading the apps.
Coach, are you sure a town of 10,000 can successfully support a tunnel? I've read where you need more than a hundred a day to stay afloat, considering the high initial costs + all the labor involved; and they're not open 24 hours a day like our unattended IBA's which are perfect for smaller venues.
Coach, we are in the midst of installing our new Razor with Power Tower and Big Shot. Our tech told me they are installing it "by the book" and WashWorld says the Big Shot should be installed exactly 12" past the undercarriage manifold. See pic:
I agree with a name that means something personal to you. Here's why we named ours Cheetah Express (after a visit to South Africa and a one-on-one experience with Cheetahs):
That set-up would not work here in a small South Texas rural town where many don't even have credit cards or computers. Our business is currently 65% credit cards/35% cash.
There are many different belts on the Profile -- the main ones are on each side that run the bridge -- although they're made of Kevlar, they still snap. There are many other belts that connect with the brushes. You'll definitely know when belts break and your wash goes down and you start...
