Washworld Razor OE 38 Start Up Test Drive Side Sonar Fail

We've had this Razor for a year and 4 months and it has pretty much been hands off, very few issues to trouble shoot. We have had this warning before but usually it would show up once and then we wouldn't see it again for a few months. The email notifications have always lagged terribly and...

Goldline and Water Wizard “Car Wash in Use”

You need to figure out if your Auto isn't sending the cycle inhibit pulse or the acw isn't receiving/acknowledging it. Could be various issues for either but you need to figure out where to look first. Add a resettable counter to your automatics cycle inhibit or end of wash (whatever you want...

    Tankless on IBA

Keep an eye on your booster pump the next couple of weeks and check your Y strainer after the pump. Those booster pumps don't like to be run dry, the plastic discs in the pump stack will start breaking and you'll fine very fine plastic hairs in your strainer if it was run dry too long.

    Goldline Printer not cutting receipts

Roz, its been a long time since I've messed with mine as I don't use it anymore, but I believe if you rotate that dial on the front of the printer you'll manually cycle the cutter. That foil blade along the bottom will move up and cut the paper. At least that's how I remember it. Is it...

    Pressure setting

He's exactly right. Put a Tee with the pressure gauge and a brand new tip (whatever size you decide on, we use 2507) in place of the tip in the bay. Have someone in the equipment room crank up the regulator until you get your bay pressure where you want it, then mark that bay's equipment room...

    I love Pollen!

What winter? It was a joke. I'm praying for snow from now into May. Pipe dream.

    Suzo MKII Coin Hopper

I have bought several from Suzo Happ direct and they work perfectly in our Wash Select II as well our Unitec Portals. No circuit board mods required.

    Credit Card Acceptance

Wow! It looks like they’ll nickel and dime you to death with fees! I was expecting a merchant fee system like Nayax had where no matter how the customer paid, you benefitted from Nayax’s consolidated rate of 2.5%. (At least that’s how it was a few years ago).

    Another lucky break #2

It’s daily with self serve washes. Looks like you’ve got your very own ‘Breaking Bad’ episode playing out there. This was my one wash a couple of weeks ago…

    Credit Card Acceptance

Am I reading something incorrectly? What doesn’t take Tap…not the Monex reader? On the Monex unit it shows it takes Apple etc which are all tap. Or are you saying the fleet cards they provide aren’t tap? I’m confused.

    Dencar cost to operate

Is that $200/month per machine or per site?

    Credit Card Acceptance

It looks interesting to me as well, but then so did Nayax. I ended up never using the Nayax and selling them because of issues I didn't learn until afterwards. The Nayax I bought were for my Wash Select, not self-serve, but the issues would have been the same and they were: 1) Operator...

    Dencar cost to operate

I'm just curious as we don't currently offer membership plans or have any Dencar units but what is the cost of using a Dencar paystation to offer memberships? Besides your merchant fees does Dencar take a percentage to manage your memberships or app? Is there an annual support fee? I haven't...

    Petit 360i long bay

Your competitor seems to have at least some internet presence: https://splashwashweb.wixsite.com/splashcarwash A couple pluses for you is that they close at 6pm and they aren’t open at all on Sundays. Unless your entire town is shut down on Sundays I would consider that a bonus. While the...

    Petit 360i long bay

    A) he should move his paystation, problem solved. B) his quality will be better because they are wiping the dirt and film off when towel drying. That doesn’t mean, however, you can’t and won’t be successful.

New member! Looking to build a car wash

In the Jacks video the owners said the only way to get on the wash property is to enter through the Sheets Gas station property. That certainly doesn't help.

    What holds the pay station?

Randy, besides the nicer finish and lack of a flange is there any other difference? Are there still knockouts on the back of the pedestal mount version? Bricks, just find a local fab shop to build a stand for it, have the enclosure wrapped in vinyl and have the fab shop make some kind of...

New member! Looking to build a car wash

My suggestion is to spend a few days and read through this forum. I really mean read it. There are thousands of pages. If you're even kicking around the idea of spending several million dollars, invest some time reading for free. For someone that's always wanted to own a car wash and has a...
