I bought one of their electric powered units at WalMart. After about 4 or 5 uses, the pump began leaking badly from a crack in the housing and I threw it in the dumpster.
We all know WalMart sells cheap junk. Just because it has a well known brand on it doesn’t mean quality at that store.
I agree...something has got to be wrong. For over a year I have been replacing my 175w MH's with 105w CFL's as they burn out.. To date I have done 7 with no problems.
This is what I have been using.

I’m thinking that a 1” gravity feed is too slow to keep up with the 30-35 gpm of an auto pump. My auto originally had a 50 gal. holding tank that was fed by a 1” city water line. Most days the tank would fill slightly quicker than the pump would consume it. On days when city pressure was not...
Looks like our Australian cousins inherited the same dumb traits that cause us grief here in America…compassion. You offer a hand up and are thanked by abusing the system or biting the hand that feeds them.
In the past, when my hopper is too low the make a circuit between the 2 metal strips in the bottom of the bowl, the ACW switched to “use exact change” mode. There were still quarters in the hopper but the amount was too low. A handful or 2 of quarters added to the hopper would switch it back...
Cutting the white wire in the hopper wiring harness WILL NOT PREVENT JACKPOTTING!
Sunday night I got hit again along with another owner. They pulled out another button and shorted the harness to make the hopper jackpot. Hamilton thinks the crooks are accumulating credit, buying a cheap wash...
I arrived at the carwash this morning to find my Hamilton ACW4 out of service and my hopper had been jackpotted. The crooks pulled out one of my selection buttons, got hold of the wiring harness behind it and knew just which wires to jump to make the hopper jackpot. I called Hamilton this...
I put a seal kit in my 3535 last week. Since I had only done 310’s in the past, I got my distributor to send someone with experience to help. We found the v-seal retainer ring (brass) broken in 3 pieces. The helper had brought his box of 3535 parts and we were able to find a replacement. If...
I’ve had check valves not want to seal when the flow was under very low pressure. To fix this I took the spring out of the valve, stretched it a little and replaced it. If that didn’t fix the problem I stretched it some more. I’ve always been able to make them work.
Sometime back, I toyed with the idea of buying a Ring-O-Matic and cleaning my own pits. I checked with my local landfills and found out that none of them would take carwash pit sludge wet or dry. I did find a landfill 75 miles away that would take dry sludge for a rather high price. That...
I had a similar claim from a woman driving an Acura. A long piece of plastic behind the driver’s side front wheel had been pulled loose and she claimed my treadle was responsible. I put the ruler to it and found that there was a 2” clearance between the top of my treadle and the bottom of her...
I get my rod ends with grease fittings in the side from Motion Industries. One squirt per month from the grease gun has kept them working for a little over 2 years…previously I was getting only 6 months before the inner races would wear out.
The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. One day working fine and the next would lose all the programmed data. The problem was a battery on the controller board. I had to send it in to get it changed.
