    Lock for equipment room

You're right - we have a punch code lock so door is always locked when closed.

    Peculiar Experience

Upon further investigation, this fellow has multiple car wash related posts on YT from around the globe and over the span of several years. None appear to have more than 500 views so it's doubtful that it's a money making proposition, or?

    Peculiar Experience

I recently received an e-mail to our info request box from an individual asking if our equipment would still be in service next May/June. I've gotten them in the past and deleted as spam or phishing expedition. However, while searching for repair video on YouTube, I discovered a video of a car...

    Lock for equipment room

Wyze offers inexpensive wireless door contacts with status notification - internet required. That will tell you after the fact status. How about installing an automatic closure mechanism?

Vac nozzles, holes in or no holes?

We notch. Purchased three motor vacs last year that had three holes in the claws that created an obnoxiously loud, high pitch whistle.

    New IBA called Plover

Interesting concept but it will take a few iterations to make it efficient, expedient and fully functional, I believe.

    Getting some touch free ideas

Those instincts are spot on. Too many variables in a rural/agricultural community to risk friction. Dryers will be challenging enough.

Where are you located and what is your start-up price/minutes?

Upstate NY: Bays $1/minute - dollar start up. Reduces racing the timer behavior, incomplete rinses, etc. Vacs $2 to start - 6min run time, last coin alert, 3 motor.

Air Shammee vs Air Shammee II

Ours are mounted in the attic - warmer, dryer air source and less clutter on the bay walls. So far, so good.

    Air Shammee Problems

    Thank you.

    Air Shammee Problems

One at each of two locations not turning on. I assume it's going to be the same problem and not the bay switch - one tested fine today. Fuses good. Do the OMRON relays fail? I could feel only one click when the bay switch was pressed. Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks. MC

Guy says 1000psi stripped his paint

Mazda or otherwise poor paint job? Mazda or otherwise poor paint job! Wait a minute, this is a self-serve thread - who was holding the gun????

Car Wash Attendant's Hourly Wage (Great Tweet!)

    Some don't have a $15/hr work ethic.

    Pit-y the fool

We cover pits with dimensional lumber using hex screws as spacers. What doesn't go down doesn't have to come up.

    Option to buy our lease

Now that the fire has been lit, follow up with the new owner about purchasing. They may be interested in a quick cash infusion, especially with vacancies.
