Are you sure the leak is coming from the boom and not coming from the top and running down?
These are the only booms I have across 4 sites 20 total bays and never have one leak. Either the 90⁰ swivel is leaking or the connection coming from the roof to the top of the boom has gone bad. This...
I noticed you don't have the needle valves like my Coleman Super Savers do. Did you remove them? Do you guys think they are needed?
Sometimes I find my issues is just opening up these valves to get more product to a bay.
I went through this last year on a wash I owned. My strategy going into buying the wash was that Tx DOT would eventually buy me out sooner than later.
Mine didn't get to an eminent domain hearing we were able to negotiate a great deal and I sold. Out of the gate I told them if this is going to...
I use GR multipliers and cap rates to evaluate any carwash opportunity. I still go by the 3 to 5 range that is often referenced on this thread. The multiplier I use all depends on the opportunity or deal I'm analyzing.
Then I look at a cap rate which can vary widely from geographical location...
Hey guys I wanted to report back and let you guys know the outcome. I switched out the pump, always a fun time on a coleman stand given the location but thats a topic for another thread, and the pressure is great now. I am running it at 200 PSI through 3/8" nylon tubing to the bays and it...
Good point on the nylon. Second wash I bought I used polytubing and it didn't last one Texas summer on an r panel roof without a trough.. I also run all mine in roof troughs and last a long time.
Personally I use ¼ for everything except spot free and tri foam there I use ⅜. Pretty happy with my results in bays so I've operated like that for some time. The extra ID space would mean more product to the bay and in the bay but also means you will consume more.
Was it a solvent extraction plant or mechanical extraction with screw presses? We are currently working on a project where we would be purchasing a solvent plant from Australia for a customer here in the U.S.
I run the family business, selling equipment in the oilseed processing industry around the world, which does require a lot of travel. Along with that have 9 duplexes 3 single family rentals and 3 washes.
My degree is in real estate and finance. I have always looked at real estate as a way to...
What model procon are you running? Im contemplating going back with a multistage pump, going to a piston pump like at my other location, or a procon option you mentioned.
Me and my guys could weld a base at the bottom of the stand for a piston pump and motor but doing this before we installed...
No its not a new install, the pump was already on the stand so I was kind of thinking a bad pump.
How does a pump get air locked?
If the rotation was backward would I even get this much pressure out of it?
This is my first time working with a multi stage pump for spot free distribution so...
What are you guys running for pressure on spot free rinse? Just got it up and running at another location and Im not even getting 75 psi at the top of the manifold. It's not impressive in the bay either.
I have a multistage pump Flint & Walling pump model PB1014C101.
At my other location I...
