They were available at the dealership or a body shop afaik. We haven't needed one for years since we found out our Protovest Windshear was the main culprit. Mirrors stuck out far enough to touch side vents. Just enough pressure to break the ring inside. Turned it off for those trucks. Replaced...
Buggy cars are offered our #1 wash ($20) as the best cleaning option with the promise of a free rewash for any reason. Bug remover is then applied. This is done for any stains or overall dinge. Any others that come back are offered the #1 but for the price difference between that and what they...
Is the mirror still connected but flopping over? A cheap repair kit is available to replace a flimsy C-ring in that style of mirror. Do not turn in these mirrors by hand! It only weakens that ring until they flop over.
I'd like to see a program where rewards were based on dollars spent rather than visits. That way, all customers would benefit. Unlimiteds would get the occasional upgrade and others would get free washes.
Phase out. Punch cards (and coupon books for that matter) don't make them come in more often or spend more per visit. They're coming in anyway so why reward them? Loyalty? An email address?
When the queue is empty on our POS and a car reaches the gateswitch, nothing happens. No one notices right away so we are forced to back them over rollers or have them go thru with no equipment on. I've heard tell of a basic "dummy wash" being loaded as the default on such occasions. How would I...
Belanger Quickfire wraps without a doubt. Replaced all my equipment in November with Belanger and we went from prepping to no prep. You will have to check all mirrors and rear wipers because anything loose could be a problem.
Quick fire wraps were installed in November and I do love them however occasionally they catch a rear wiper. Most end up along the driver's side wall or underneath the wraps so I'm figuring the driver's side wrap is the main culprit. How do you screen them for pre-existing damage? Bags or tape...
A local printer makes a generic gift certificate for us. Unless you plan on cranking them out all year, I don't think it pays to have a swipe-able card.
Just had Belanger Quickfire Wraps installed. Turning in a small percentage of front plates. Would like a resource of sturdy plate covers or encasements as they tend to have flimsy or no protection at all to begin with. I could sell them at cost as good customer service.
A 5hp pump is supposed to circulate the water 24/7 to prevent odor. Now is usually the worst time for our water (smell and algae formation) and its not that bad presently so if it can prevent that I'd be happy.
I'm considering purchasing one through Ziposhine. Does anyone have an experience with this product or the installer? Any other reclaims that should be looking at?
Your equipment could be setting it up and the dryers are just finishing it off. Or they could have all been damaged before entering the wash. Or it could be one of those silent recalls Ford pulls occasionally (wrap-around bumpers on older Taurus and Aerostars, Explorer rear hatch panel cracks...
