Second Picture
Here is another pic of my second Jarvis 103 W installation. 320W MH is on the left vac island. Jarvis 103W on right vac island. You can see the shadow that is created by the bright light of Jarvis lighting over the Scottsdale lighted area...
Here are pics.
This is a picture of my covered vacuum/vending area. The 320W Metal Halide is on the left. The 103W Jarvis is on the right. Look at the concrete floor and you can tell how much brighter it is.

Installed two Jarvis retrofit LED this weekend. It was very easy. Took about 30 mins each. The lights looks amazing. It is Brighter than my 320W metal halide. I will start tO replace with these JARVIS IN THE future.
This is my big secret. Greg why you want to tell the world for. Last week I bought a billy goat vacuum that normally sells for $1400. Got it shipped to my door with no tax and free shipping in 3 days and 20% off . You can't beat that. I make a list of items and wait for discount special...
I agree that there service have gotten worsen. Like everyone including us owners, it is about turning a profit. When you call, they ask for account number to see if you are a big customer like washvac or small wash owner.
Here are some of my issues:
1)the kleenrite 5 gallon ultra...
The next question is whether to do new LED installation when the current light fixtures go out or do the whole wash at a time. I do have the capital to do the whole wash but not sure the timing is right with lower prices in the future. The faster one deploys the LED quicker the savings.
This...
I think I am still a little early on LED replacement. Prices can come down further. These use to be $250 about 2 years ago. It cost me only $50 for a new Metal Halide kit with new Bulb. I am pretty sure the LED are not going to be as bright as the original metal halide. Here is a link for...
Excellent. I will go ahead and order 5 to do my own test. Post pics if you can to show the difference. These led kit have only four big diodes while others have 16 or more smaller diodes. Don't know if this technology is better.
I been very interested in installing these LED to replace my Scottsdale. Prices has gone down to $199 with free shipping over $500. Anyone has installed these yet? The specs says they give 11,050 lumens and uses 103W. 5 year warranty. Other brands or $300 and above. They are Chicago base...
The gross number and asking price is not unreasonable. I never pay more than 3x gross now. 2.5x if equipment is old.
However with your current situation, I would try to pay off you recent purchase before buying another wash. Buying a wash is easy, but making high profit margin is hard with bank...
The water wizard red lion computer will give you how much revenue it does each year for the last five years. I will start there. What is the automatic prices for each wash?
When I bought my first wash I paid too much for it. You pay for the business or the land value. Never Both. Assuming...
A water wizard automatic is not a tunnel. If it is an Wizard 1.0 I don't think the wash can generate 400K a year. You mean 200K a year or 400K for 2 years??? If gross is 200K I would not pay more than 3 times gross. So $600K is my highest I would pay for it.
I use Kleen-rite summer concentrate. Mix 1 gallon to 5 gallon water. Cost $41 for a 5 gallon concentrate. What is the name of the warsaw product? Your $2 per 5 gallons is cheaper than my $8 per 5 gallon. Does the warsaw have a fragrance to it?
This is a game changer thread for wizard owners.
I changed three gears on three bad oscillating motors today. Took less than 10 minutes on each. Took 3 screws out with an impact wrench. Push out the old gear. Clean the brass debris from the inside and put everything back in reverse. The...
My first touchfree was a 2001 Ryko US OHD. It was a piece of ****. Sorry Soapy. All inverted L in my mind are poor technology. Just look for a used water wizard 2.0 for around $30 - $40K and be done with your search. You won't be disappoint.
After four painful years of learning the ins and...
I would never ever buy a New automatic. Unless you have no competition and a very high volume location, buying new does not make sense. These machine depreciates too quickly. Also with consignment and closed down washes, buying used is the way to go. I have eight water wizard 1.0 and I have...
I buy from lowes and sometime home depot. Everytime I go there I stop by to buy 3 to 4 bags per month. I buy the broken bag and ask for a discount. Usually get it for about $2 a bag. Currently it cause $4.50/bag. A penny save is a penny earn.
