WashWorld New Razor Hyper Force

I'm wondering about weeping on the side arch, I was told this was a single "bent" tube on side arch which would seem to create an issue.
I'm assuming you could increase speed on sealant flex passes and rinse. Not sure I would apply soaps on a fwd/rev pass need dwell time for those.
 
As I said in my basic report.
I see no reason why the new arch can not be installed on existing machines.

Will they sell us new arches?

I have been working on a farmer engineered replacement for the flex pass pods.
I was not able to open the hood and see how they connected this to the frame.
But I m sure it can be done
Other than that its programming and pomp!

I m assuming from my conversation with my rep that this got dumped in Their lap at the Friday meeting.
Cause he texted me Friday night!
Lots of questions to ask.
Until I get concrete answers - its all speculation as to how WW is going to handle this
 
What would be REALLY a killer machine is if they made an APEX without the brushes.

My thoughts exactly, as I stated above. Use blue arm for PS, cause you need coverage & especially DWELL
 
Thanks for the report. If its a modified Edge, Im thinking it has the hyperflex as standard equipment. It is my understanding that you can apply 2 products at the same time with that feature. The video appears to show that as well. I didnt add that to mine because i can only see where it saves me one pass on my top package. Im like you, i need to see the banannas in person. I plan to use those for my med pressure waxes for sure. I feel coverage of those products will be sufficient. Might use it for more after i play with it. I am told that the only one running is at the factory. I looked at flights last night and plan to go in the next 2 weeks. Still lots of unanswered questions.
 
If there's only one running at the factory, it's a bit too early to know more yet. Fingers crossed, maybe they'll make an "upgrade kit."
 
Hey guys, just sharing this with the group before I head out. I ordered Double Barrel and I still have the option to switch.

With the winter conditions, especially dealing with ice and mud, I’m curious: between the Hyperforce and the Double Barrel, which one do you think cleans better in cold climates? The Hyperforce just came up as an option, and I’m considering it before finalizing. thanks
 
I think its all about the chemical myself. But the double barrell offers more agitation with the turbo nozzles. my 2 cents.
 
I’m in the northeast and we have harsh winters. Most of the heavy snow and ice accumulates in the rocker panel, wheel and wheel well area. If I were putting a new machine in, I’d make sure that area was well targeted as the customer drives in with a hefty array of high pressure nozzles. Maybe turbo nozzles or some type of spinner etc. You might even consider warm water to that manifold during the winter if the plumbing can be worked out on the machine.
 
I agree with - getnbusy - its more about the chemical.

After staring at the ceiling for the last several nights. ( Cause I have a quote for an Edge that I have to decide on shortly)
I have decided that the hyper force is hyper exaggerated.

The extra $15k plus the electric work cost to power it - is just not worth it!

I really want to see one run but that might be a year from now before one is around here.
Downsizing the arch nozzles concerns me. I ve used t jet nozzles for 42 years spraying thousands of acres of crops.
I understand nozzle size - flow/volume- and pressure

And with my current configuration of products to apply, I just dont see it speeding me up that much.
I ll take quality over quantity every day.
Nothing beats the arch for application coverage
I think they just designed this to compete with Petit for speed.

Time will tell once I get to see one work.
For now its the Edge.
 
Looks like WW attempt to combat against Petit. But unfortunately I don't think i'm sold. I like the additional height I gain with the Petit and it can achieve these speeds with multiple consecutive chemicals at once.
 
I always thought that totally touch free tunnels never caught on because they could not provide the necessary dwell time to adequately clean. So it makes me wonder how a “sped up” IBA is doing it. If the quick succession of chemical application and less dwell time is working, you would think some operators would go for the throughput of a touchfree tunnel.
 
We purchased a location where the previous owner would apply the two presoaks and then all the other products like a lo ph triple foam and a protectant Then rinse it all off at once. His argument was that it increased overall dwell time while speeding up the wash package. We did not like the show from customer perspective so we changed the packages to have multiple rinses. I think the additive approach cleaned well but you sacrifice the show and water beading at the end. I do think the layered approach is worth an experiment to see how it goes.

Chemicals have come a long way since those touch free tunnels were tried. Might be 1 reason IBAs can now wash faster with less dwell
