We’re demolishing 3 old Superwash autobays and making it into 2 wider, longer and higher bays. The new bay should be 15’ x 34’. And we’re planning to install a pair of Petit.
Thanks a bunch. That works. The 1-page info sheet was the only document Dencar provided to our distributor and us. There's no installation manual nor troubleshooting guideline. Our distributor, like most of the operators here, has limited knowledge on networking. With all the issues we have...
I was able to access the controller. But it seems there is no "reset" button. Here's the screenshot. The retrofit door still goes down almost everyday after Dencar performed a major update last week on the software.
I don't think this only impacts the retrofit door but other product lines as well. If you have an access to the Facebook Dencar group OurTown mentioned above, please check this latest post "WHEN DO WE ACTUALLY GET SOME ANSWERS AS TO WHY THESE PAYSTATIONS ARE HANGING UP, NOT FIRING WASHES AND VIA...
Here’s the pic how the hardware looks like for the ACW retrofit door. First impression all hardware are built solid. We used the smart plug to control the touchscreen only. But then you have many other network devices associated with it. When I said I had to reset everything, I meant we needed...
Tried the smart plug and timer to reset the touchscreen. It didn’t work. My understanding from other operators is somehow some signal or data get lost on the way transferring from the pay station back to the Dencar server (not hosted locally in the car wash). As a result, it fails to fire up a...
It makes you wonder why a 20 year old ACW pairing with the Crytopay readers is way more reliable than this…rebooting the whole system isn’t a big deal when you have someone on site. But it becomes a real problem in the after hours when it decides to go down by itself and keeps charging customers...
We got the Dencar ACW door installed early this month. So far it's been a nightmare. The touchscreen randomly crashes and it charges customers' without firing up the washes. We have to reboot everything almost on daily basis. I suggest to hold off purchasing the retrofit door until Dencar can...
As I mentioned in this post, our average was around 5 before cancelling it. Once our member # surpassed 100, I don't think our average had been less than 4. On some busy month, we saw the # getting very closed to 6. That's not what I was told by my account manager when I signed up. He told me I...
Agreed with what you said. Before cancelling Everwash, we had more than 600 members. We would have had about 800 if we didn't ask Everwash to ban the ~ 200 users who had repeatedly abused the wash policy. And we really didn't track the usage for the first year and half since we signed up...we...
Your average is pretty good. I just cancelled the Everewash for one of my washes. Before cancelling it, our average had been hovering around 5. We had never gotten it lower than 4/mo since we signed up 2 years ago. When you run into several hundred members, it will give you more headache...
carwashclubber, at this moment responding to your post, Hamilton has put me on hold for 30+ minutes for the tech support. I just wanted to reset the passcode logging into the HTK so I can diagnose the printer.
I really don’t have a good experience with their HTK.
The HTK is pricey! After you...
How’s the migration going moving from Everwash to HTK? Any pushback from Everwash and the monthly members? I’m seriously considering switching to other pay stations with better membership program.
I think the fees Everwash charged are average around 15% of the sales.
Because it looks like the owner has more controls on the membership program, does Dencar charge certain fees like Everwash? Maybe just a one-time charge for developing the app specific for your car wash?
Thanks
3.1 looks like it's an impossible # for us. It has become a dauting task once your memberships have reached several hundreds. Not only you have to check the cameras and catch the abusers, you will have to manually report them to your account manager through email. Most importantly, you'll have...
