Steve, to upgrade an older machine to use photoeye bayplate, you would need 3 kits. 28586-001, -002 and -003. If the machine is an FX2N, you will need program 25695-002 rev - or later. If it's an FX3U, you would need 27650-006 rev - or later. We used to offer a pressure switch treadle...
Good morning. Please call into our tech support team so they can help you track it down. The number is 844-627-9274, then select option 8 for tech support and 2 for Ryko.
After the cycle, look closely at the manifold and see if you can determine if the residual drops are coming out of the manifold, or if they are dripping from the SS plate they roll off of onto the vehicle. If it's the manifold, you may want to try to angle it slightly so any water in the...
@CarWashDude101 On the Softgloss side, we have (6) 24VDC inputs available for wash packages, and we have a couple of different outputs typically used to indicate wash in use (bayplate) to enable escrow to work properly with most systems. If you need tech support help on the Ryko side, just...
@rshiggaon, on that vintage of machine, it wasn't possible to order a machine with both the Foam Bath and the Presoak option. You had to select one or the other. What you could do is to add a Bug Buster option, depending on what software you are running. That's basically a spray manifold on...
Happy to help! Please DM me with the serial number of the machine, and I'll see if I can pull the correct manuals for that machine. You will find the serial tag on on the passenger side post where the top brush pivot bearing is located.
...and thanks Car_Wash_Guy!
A WSII can be used to replace a Ryko coinbox, but it depends on what model and vintage to determine if any additional equipment is required. A quick way to tell is if your machine has inputs for "Package 1, package 2, etc.", you can wire the outputs of a Unitec directly. If your Ryko machine...
We can no longer get components for the Ryko coinboxes, so they aren't supported. I'd recommend moving into a new kiosk platform such as AMP, Unitec, Hamilton, etc.
The InstaGuard would no longer be a PA-DSS compliant solution, so it's not recommended that it be used. Attached is an install doc though that shows how it was installed when it was still supported.
Dirt, those numbers sound high, but as others have mentioned there are a lot of variables that come into play. Machine setup including wash/rinse speeds, how the packages are configured, length of vehicle being washed, etc. Usually for a basic wash I'd expect somewhere around 35 gallons, but...
Ryko also had a deflector we used on the 1/2" photoeyes we used with the ThrustPro dryers. The deflector is about 1.7" long, and a 7/8" ID. It is PN 18804-000. Looks like it's still available.
