Pulling trigger on New Portal TI!

I didn't look at it too much. Is that what you have? If so, why did you choose it over the Portal?

Pulling trigger on New Portal TI!

Have you used the marketing capabilities with any success? (discounted washes for businesses in the area, fleet etc..)

Pulling trigger on New Portal TI!

About a year and a half ago, we replaced a touch free with a Soft cloth IBA. Business is up a little bit, but with the increased marketing capabilities, we feel that the portal could help bring it up even more. That is the plan anyway.....

Pulling trigger on New Portal TI!

After much thought I have decided to pull the trigger on a new Unitec Portal TI. Anybody out there have these in service? I ordered it with the optional software marketing upgrade, the double hopper (to give a free vaccuum) the bill dispenser and the high security camera. I am curious as to...

What are you paying for pit cleaning?

Wow...feel lucky here in NC. I have a 5/1 with pretty deep pits. I have the pits pumped once every 9-10 months. My guy charges $350 total, regardless of how full they are. So my helper shovels out the busy bays and wheel barrows it to the less busy bays to make sure all pits are FULL when he...

    Kleen-seal with teflon

Absolutely love Kleen Seal! I have tried many different wax/clear coat/drying agents at my wash. I have never (including Rain-x and weather shield by Warsaw) seen any chemical that protects and sheds water like kleen seal. It is supposed to be similar to Simoniz's blue lagoon (also pina colada...

Strongly cosidering a new Autec AES 260. Any thoughts?

Cost. I paid about 160,000 for machine, doors, heat, light fixtures and install as well as removal of old unit, and soft costs. (Electric, plumbing, marketing materials)

Replaced Touch Free with Friction and added R/O waste collection to reuse in SS.

Reusing R/O water Hi John, I would be glad to draw you a diagram. Send me your email address, or give me a call. My phone number is 336-688-5632. It was very easy to do, did not cost much money and have saved me thousands in water and sewer bills. Regards, Craig

Buttons/switches on Coleman Shampoo Vacs and Fragrance Vacs

Does anyone know where you can buy the buttons that are on the Fragrance Vac Machines. The ones that you push to switch between one fragrance and another? I called Coleman and they are asking 15.50 per button, which I feel is way too much...Especially since I need 20 of them. Any ideas?

Grtting rid of WW touch free best decision I ever made as a CW owner.

I had the 1.0. I bought the wash and the unit was 6 years old then. When I got rid of it, it was about 10 years old.

I am glad to hear that. You are the first person whom I have ever heard speak that highly of a water wizard. I am glad your experience has been a good one. I bought our wash used and the prior owners maintenance (or lack thereof) probably had much to do with my opinion. However, It was later...

Grtting rid of WW touch free best decision I ever made as a CW owner.

I replaced it with an Autec AES 260. It cleans so much better that the touch free and is hydraulically (water based hydraulic fluid) driven. Which means the end of electrical ghost chasing............not to mention smaller water, sewer and electric bills.......also got some great financing...

Replaced Touch Free with Friction and added R/O waste collection to reuse in SS.

I bought the an Autec AES 260 for many reasons. It cleans a great car and uses much less water, electricity and chemicals to do so. It is hydraulically driven, which means I don't have to get my Phd in electrical engineering to fix it. It is manufactured in state so if my distributor does not...
