Vac Upgrades...What Would You Do?

You don't mention whether your vacs are round or oval, but why not use that bracket I listed in the other thread when we were on this subject. It holds a foam brush by the head. Turned around backwards, with the bolt holes facing out it should be great for a vac hose. For an oval you could bolt it on the side or on the back of an adjacent vac. I can't picture it being a huge deal to use on a round one or maybe bolt it to an adjacent light pole or something.

Hey John,

Do you still have the round D/H vacs? I have some and a few years ago we stripped the decals from them, shined them up, had new decals custom made to match our decor, new bags, hoses, etc. They look and perform like new. They actually are a well built vac. I also have a combo vac. One is plenty...last week someone used the shampoo brush to scrub up spilled paint and ruined the brush. They also vacuumed up the paint. It ran out the clean out door all over the vac island. Parts are expensive and the shampooer does very little winter business here in the snow belt. I wouldn't do it again.

We also added a mat clamp on the backside of the vac. The opposing vac customer is able to use it.

My vacs are round. I have poles that hold my canopies up over my vacs and think I will use those for the extra hose. I just need to be able to find the right "hook" so that I can get everything installed tomorrow.
