Ryko "Bay Pay" or Wash Card or Wash Gear for my Self Serves

Does anybody here have the Ryko Bay Pay system? I was just at the HCA show and got alot of good info from Ryan at WashCard but no Wash Gear vendors. I heard many operators there at the show saying to go with Wash Card or Wash Gear not Ryko main reason is Ryko is a carwash system mfg plant and doesn't mainly specialize in credit card systems, how much does a system cost from one of these 2 companies I got my quote from Ryko's baypay system $$$ as is for any system, but I didn't get any numbers from anybody there like they were afraid of teling how much their system costs kinda helps when I'm ready to pull the trigger a.s.a.p

click on the washgear ad on the forum. It will take you to washgear's web site. There is a distributor right in your area (polk city) that has installed a lot of washgear equipment.

I have installed the wash gear setup on my newer ryko SS system. I have had it installed for 18 months and have not ever had a single problem. It is a simple install. If you go with washgear I would have them supply the computer for about $600. Then you have a plug and play system. If you go to the ICA show they will have a booth and generally have a good show special.

Does the Wash Gear system allow the customer to go to a website to reload their card or check on their account?

By far WashCard has the complete package. Its easy to use for both the operator and the customer. Also I don't know about you but I like company's that come to local regional products shows, its a little bit more personal.

I love Ryko, but would go with a third party supplier for self serve credit cards. Wash Gear would be great. For the price, I have been real happy with Etowah Valley's Quick Pay System. Good luck.

I have had Washcard for years and like it. I also like there website design for my wash. I link all three of my washes together with washcard. If there is a problem I have called them to let them know and they just get into my site remotely and fix it before I even get to my wash.

I looked at all of these extensively. I somehow stumbled upon Wash Remote somewhere on this forum. If I were to buy today I think this is the system I would buy. All of these systems are hard to integrate with the Jim Coleman controls without upgrading timers, push button switches, etc.. I would definitely take a look at them if I were you:

I installed a Wash Remote system in Dec. It's been great and has many features above and beyond credit card acceptance.

Here is a video of how I added it to my bays . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le5OX5A-47Y

Send me an email or pm for contact info...NO I do not sell or represent this co.

Ryko Bay Pay

I just had the Ryko Bay Pay system (with new self serve face plates) installed 4 months ago. I have not used any other system (unless you count credit card to token retrofit) but the Ryko system seems far to complicated for the customer in my opinion. For that matter it seems far to complicated for me!
I dont know who said it previous but the other companies specialize in the CC processing equipment, I would lean toward them if I had a choice. We had the old Ryko CC system so it would have been far to expensive to install something else.
