Well since you just discovered it I expect you have not been draining it regularly. ????

It looked to me to be an auto drainer, like the one in the automatic side I have, is it not? There is no water in it, I checked.

I however am curious do the filters on these things need changed? I noticed while looking online at a few they all have these sleeve filters.

1. Hard to tell if it is auto Drain / Dump by looking. If it is you will hear it exhaust / Dump periodically. Even if it is auto dump you need to check periodically to make sure it is not full of water because they can get gunked up and not dump.
