Over the years after trying & using litterally every brand and model known to man of coin acceptors I have been running Microcoin QL acceptors and have been happy with them but at $320 a pop now i dont know if thats reasonable. Who do you guys get to repair them. Thanks alot Thomas
Holy cow, $399 at KR now! Still $325 at carwashsuperstore
Just talked to Adam. Sounds like a nice guy. They charge a flat $45 labor charge plus parts, If it is not repairable they will give you the opportunity to replace the insert at a discounted price.
NCS has it for $229, don't know if thats the whole unit or just the insert though.
I was just as sticker shocked as you though when I needed a few more for some vacs about a month back. Luckily, I found some functional ones at one of the washes we bought.
Is the coin path clean? And when you program tokens, how many do you run through there? I do 25-30 or so, different tokens, to give a big sample size, that works for us.
I am surprised NCS bought them as they have been focused on the tunnel market from day 1 in the Carolinas after buying and closing one of the best self serve manufacturer's in the country microcoin would be a drop in the bucket after seeing them seek & destroy and waste a major company in the Self Serve US market nothing surprises me anymore, but it ain't nothing but money right.
