Installing signs

I'm adding new in-bay signs since they were removed by the previous owners (or maybe stolen). These will be on unpainted brick and I'm debating gluing them on with construction adhesive instead of push rivets. Would this be a mistake? Should I make the extra effort to drill into the brick or would the glue method be sufficient? The signs are from KleenRite and are polystyrene.

Thanks!

Defiantly do the anchors and stainless screws like Eric H suggested. I like to use these ones from Lowes for signs and conduit. They might even be the same that Eric uses. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-37...ed-Diameter-Standard-Drywall-Anchor/999996584

When you go to replace signs in a few years you can mark the previous drill holes on the new sign and re use the screws/anchors.

Also do washers like Keno said. Make sure you put them shiny side/round edge out. My OCD drives me crazy seeing a washer put on backwards. Still not as bad though as when I see tapcons in a self serve bay/auto. Nothing worse than that.
