I will be closing soon on a 3 bay ss, 1 iba. While it is still functioning it needs alot of tlc on the ss side. The iba is a 3 year old razor xr7, only thing to do there is add card reader and repaint. The card reader is the first thing im going to do.

Next the bill changer, which i dont even know where to start as all the parts(maybe) are laying on ground and there nothing left inside. I have a pic of the hopper and the outside. Can someone help identify and tell me what i need to get it back in service, or if its even worth messing with.

What kind of paystation does the razor have that it does not have a card reader?

It looks like you have a Hamilton changer by the hopper. Just buy a new one instead of wasting time. Get a Hamilton again that has same dimensions as the old one so the block cutout is the same and it just fits right in.

You can mess around and waste money trying to fix that one or just buy new and sleep better knowing you will be able to accept every dollar that a customer tries to put through it. If you cant take their money it's going to be hard to make some.

It has a hamilton with just a swiper on it, did not come with the razor.

And yes i hear you about the sleeping im trying to save where i can at the moment. This is probaly not one of those times. Also doesnt seem like there are any that fit those dimensions.

That's an old Hamilton CM-1 changer, they don't make anything that dimension anymore. Post a picture of the inside of the bill changer and I can tell you which way to go. I've done a lot of changer rebuilds and installs. Also post a picture of your ACW, inside and out.
The inside is completely empty on the changer, the part I have the pic of appears to be the hopper its laying on the floor next to it.

What in the hell! Wood. I've never seen a ACW installed like that before. A round here it'd last about 20 minutes and it'd be gone. What's inside the ACW? You mean to tell that there is no harness or controller inside the changer, nothing!

lunchbox if you have not closed yet you should post more pics of the building, self serve equipment, vacs, and auto bay. A lot of us have been doing this a long time and can give you a better idea of what your getting into exactly since we've been down this road.

Looks to me like he's going to need 2 new bill changers, I see 2 empty CM-1 changer cabinets. you could put new guts in those cabinets or replace them with a Hamilton RNS-XT, the RNS has a larger face panel that is the same size as the CM-1 face.
