I am looking for a used automatic wash preferably in Ohio or neighboring state. This is for a low volume old super wash so the bays are kind of small. Must go into a 15' wide bay. Send me a Private message if you have something to sell.

Are you sure they are 15' wide? I do know they made some wider but I have not heard of any that wide. Our auto bays are only 12' 9" wide and was built in 2003. What year was yours built?

My automatic bay is about 13' wide but I am going to convert a self serve bay if need be which will give me 15' wide

Touchfree is going to be your only choice with a narrow bay. I am in same position myself

Installed in an old Super Wash. 13'3" from wall to wall.
Looks exactly like my bay. Thanks for the picture. Maybe I will try to put an automatic back into the automatic bay instead of converting a self serve bay over now that I saw you actually did it. Did you have to lower the unit from factory recommended height with the low ceiling?

Don't know what factory specs are but we installed it so that it was very close to the purlins. The entrance opening has a clearance of 83"- we cut out to layers of block. I can wash almost everything that comes along. Cannot wash (too tall) full-size vans like E250's. The actual arch of the Razor is 86" off the floor. As a reference a F250 is 81", Suburban 75", Silverado 2500 78".

Another thing you could look into is the Super Wash upgrade machine. It sizes the back of the car which is the biggest issue with the fixed oval. IIRC it was about $54K but I think you would then have to extend the bay a bit lengthwise.

What is the "Superwash Upgrade Machine" is there any pictures of it?

I have yet to see one but somewhere I have some info on it. The reason I called it an upgrade is because it uses some of the parts from the owner's Super Wash fixed oval. I think it is made by Pro Equipment so it might be a Navigator type machine.

Copperglobe Looking at your picture the outside e-chain trough is mounted incorrectly on the exit end. If you look in the picture it is currently sagging. The slotted piece with the cut out for the hose routing needs to be on the wall side. It is designed to have 1 of those cut outs on the entrance and exit side. The current outside piece needs to butt up to the one on the wall side. Feel Free to give Washworld a call if you have any questions. 920-338-9278
