WW 2.0 CAT pump kicking breaker

The 25 HP motor (baldor) is having a overheating issue and kicking the mailn breaker on the pump bench. THe motor is makig a loud sound and then after doing this for a while it will kick the breaker. Let it cool down for a while and works again but cannot wash many cars in a row before kicking the breaker. I assume the motor is having a issue and I will need to get someone to take a look at it and hopefully repair. Does anyone have any experience with this before I dig into it tomorrow. Thx.

Have you checked the pump pressure?

true about pump pressure! Had the same thing happen and found out it was the pump pressure and it was the belt making a funny noise not the motor, at start up of the pump it sometimes would stall the motor and then very slowly start turning and squeak the belt an odd noise.

I have Mark VII machines that use the Giant unloaders. For some reason the pressure on these things will climb over time. When I hear squealing belts and have overloads tripping at random, often excessive pressure is the cause.
