I noticed a black truck at my self serve location. He washed his truck and I think used the spot free rinse. He vacuumed and then dried his truck. There was a white haze all over it where he wiped it. What would cause that?

White film after washing

Could be several things. What condition was the finish in? If is had any oxidation that could be the issue. If it was newly polished it could be a chemical reaction between the wax or sealant on the surface with your chemicals. Chances are neither condition should be permanent and it should go away in a short period of time by itself.
