Just curious as to what pressure you guys deliver you tire cleaner. It seems to be a very
popular item and I am going through it in a hurry. I have a VFD system and was going to back
the delivery pressure down some to try not using it so fast. Thanks

We try to tweak the air mixture with our Flojet setup so it foams on the tire ... with the idea that it will stay put longer for more dwell time. So in other words, just enough pressure to get it to reach the tire even if the customer holds the wand 18" away or thereabouts.
How is that VFD system working out compared to the more conventional setups with Flojets &/or Procons etc.? Any issues with "electrical noise" with the PLC being the main controller for the functions? I had to relocate my light sensor transducer for the PLC analog module because of unforeseen "electrical noise". Just a thought, but is seems like you might have a transducer interacting with a PLC within your system. If I remember right, it seems like some washes use the feedback from a pressure transducer with their PLC.
On my system I program each function's hz. from 10-60. I now have my tire and wheel cleaner on 10hz. where as it was on 15hz.
Hopefully this will help me not waste so much chemical. The thing I don't like about this system is with the weep gun, if my customer goes to the meter to put more money in, they are spraying tire cleaner all over the concrete outside the bay. I just see dollars pooling on my concrete.
