What For?

Have a Coleman SS Pump Stand. No Manual .8 bays. There are these 2 stacks of 4 solenoids each, They T into the 8 Fitting coming off the rinse tank that supplies each HP pump. They have hot water plumbed to them. IS this some way of adding hot water to the rinse ? Asking because a solenoid stuck open and tank then overflowed.

They should have cold water plumbed to them. Those are for the rinse to be cold while everything else is hot. The reason the tank overflowed is because the check valve above where those tee in is bad.
