Does anyone know a good supplier for the 3/8" nylon flex hoses on the rocker arms for the boom arm and rocker panel high pressure functions? I was inadvertently replacing them with single strand metal hoses and realized (after talking to Al at JCC) that the correct hose is a high pressure nylon flex hose (the metal hoses don't seem to last any where near as long). JCC wants roughly $25 a hose. My two local hose companies don't seem to have the same product. One has a "thermoplastic" nylon hose that might work but it does not look the same. If anyone has a good supplier, your help would be greatly appreciated. I need 8-24" hoses and 6-19" hoses.

Ive just always had them made at the local parts store! What's funny is the passenger side hoses seem to go out and after I (think) 5 years I have never replace a drivers side hose! But all the boom hoses i have replaced.
The "thermoplastic " hose can have a pressure rating as high as 12,000psi. It is more flexible than the steel reinforced hose and will last longer. It is easier to work with as well. I have been replacing all my high pressure and hydraulic hoses with it. Any hydraulic shop should have it or be able to order it for you.
I buy them custom made from Kleen Rite, less than $10 each, IIRC
That's interesting. I called them and they said they did not have that type of hose. Do you know the exact spec or language you use to order them? A part number would be even better. I know that I need three 19" hoses for boom and four 24" for side rocker panels. Thanks for your reply.

I went through the same problem and the same solutions you did after a few years. What a joke that was. I hardly have to replace them at all now.
I order mine through Wintrax in Kansas. Its called Synflex hose and they are 19" long with male 3/8" fittings both sides. You can get through Kleen rite but depending on your location they want to ship out of the Northeast.
