Here is my 69 olds 455 bored .30 with forged 10.5 : 1 pistons, full windage tray, high volume oil pump, Milidon 8 quart oil pan, Harland Sharp adjustable roller rockers, Crower race cam, custom made carb Holly 850 DP (flows close to 1000 CFM), MSD 6AL with billet distributor and coil, custom made cool can with 27' of iced 1/2" fuel line, race prepped motor mounts, stainless intake oil splash guard, 4600 CFM electric fan, 19" x 31" Griffin aluminum radiator, custom modified hurst olds intake system and MUCH more.
There are even a few car wash pieces in there too.
It would have been easier to build BB Chevy but the torque and sound of a screaming BB olds is the only way to go with a 69 cutlass!

It is around 450 to 475 hp and well over 500 ftlbs of torque (it was rated at 500 ftlbs stock). It pushes a 4000lbs car to 12.20's consistantly. This motor has many street miles and close to 1000 full 1/4 mile passes without a rebuild. All I do now is change the oil!
