Underground RO tank

Yours collapsed? If so, what caused it to collapse? Is it a poly tank under the equipment room floor? What year was your wash built? Ours was built in 2003, and I think it is 1,500 gallons.

I dont think an underground tank would collapse unless it had no water in it for a long period of time. Thats pretty cool idea though to have an underground tank in equipment room.

It does make it harder to deliver spot free water. Most pumps can't lift water very well or can't run dry long enough to prime.

I have an old Superwash, and I also have an underground RO water tank. It's white plastic. It's big, it takes about an hour of ~4gpm flow (3 membranes) to increase the level in the tank by about 16-18". And I bet it's at least 6' deep.

Mine tank is on the same side of the motor room as the boilers. Luckily my tank has not collapsed.
