Type of Metal on Gantry Wheels

A local machinist is going to machine another set of four wheels for my WW 1.0 for less $$ than JCC charges. Before I had him do it I was wondering if the originals were a certain type of hardened steel that I should be aware of. Also, does the WW 2.0 also use the same wheels? I was going to order a few extras because the price is reduced if I order additional wheels and I thought I could sell them at cost if there was enough demand.

I ordered one wheel from my distributor - $220, which I believe is less than I paid for the last one that I bought last summer. I took it to a local machine shop and they are making me 4 wheels for $135 each.

I had 8 wheels made off a local machine shop:

He said he made some additional wheels and will have in stock for any one who needed them $123 each. Ask for Bob.
