Coinco has released the new Vantage $1-$5 and the Vantage $1-$20 that offers another validator choice for our vending machines. New technology has been incorporated into these new units such as faster bill validation, high first time acceptance, 3 levels of anti-stringing technology, and automated self-diagnostics to ensure optimal performance. It has coupon acceptance capabilities and increased water protection from wet bills.
The new Guardian changer has 6 coin tubes that allow more coins to be available for making change for the larger bill denominations. We can stack 3 tubes with dollar coins and 3 tubes with quarters giving us a total of $261.75 that would be available for making change. This is a substantial increase in money available for change over any other tube changer that we have. The changer can be filled with coin from the rear, will count it automatically when put in service, and then communicate that amount to the vendor control board. No more filling of the changer one coin at a time from the coin slot of the vendor.
This changer has a LCD display on it that tells you the total change it has in it, what errors might need to be addressed, and is used to help you program the changer. The ?tuning ?of tokens can be done in the field by the wash operator and the tokens will drop into the cash box. The changer WILL NOT stack tokens in any of its tube to be given as change.
In many ways the Guardian is very similar to the Mars 7512i changer that we have used for years.
