Anybody experiment with dilution ratio's with Turtle Wax Tri-Foam? Instructions say to dilute 50% with water to start, then run a pink tip at 240-1 in the hydrominder. At this rate it will take me years to use the starter kit!

dilution ratio

We mix it at 100 to 1 to get good foaming. There ratio is 480 to 1. I guess you would get color but no foam.

I started with the recommended ratio of 480-1. After using it at that ratio for about a month, I've decided that it is too watery and not as much color as I'd like. I do get comments on how well it works, though. I'm going to the purple tip that will take my ratio to 240-1 and see how that works. Don't think it will break the bank even though that stuff is expensive! I drew a line on my 5 gallon jugs and think the level maybe moved about 1/8" in a month....

Update: I changed to purple tips yesterday and the change was very noticable. The foam was thicker and had more color. I'll keep it that way for awhile and see what kind of response I get....
