The hopper can dispense .984 tokens as is - you just change the DIP switch settings in the controller to change the payout to one coin per dollar. The settings are in the manual:

If you have a C-2000 controller all you need to do is change the dip switch settings on the front of the controller. You want to turn On switches ?H? and ?K? all the other are to be turned Off, this will give you a 1 for 1 payout. If you have an older version 5.3 controller you?re going to have to upgrade to C-2000 controller. Sometimes the older v5.3 controllers can be modified to get a 1 for 1 payout.
