I used to shovel it out, dry it on the floor of the bay, and put it in the dumpster. Now I haul it myself.
The trash hauler with the municipal contract now refuses to tip it, so I told the town to take back the dumpster. Meanwhile I had to get tested for heavy metals but not hydrocarbons ( $155) before I can haul dirt to the dump myself. I only had to get tested once, and can use "process knowledge" to certify that it is the same now as when it was tested. For instance I don't have engine degreaser and if I add it I would have to get retested for hydrocarbons.
