Strong Case for "Sore Thumb" methods

Waxman

Super Moderator
Just spoke to a regular carwash and detail customer in linr for my IBA. He looked at my Shurvend and said:"when'd ya get that?". I said last year. He said:"wow; that's the first I've noticed it."

Soooo, my decals for the sides (clearview font thanks to JJJ) are being installed next nice day we get and rope lights will be added asap.

Need to make it a sore thumb. It's not hidden and situated between the token machine and 1st SS bay!

Thanks, Waxman, for adding some validation to my published assertion of the "sore thumb" idea. I have heard of more than one operator being asked by a customer where the vendor is when it is right behind him. The "blinders" that customers seem to wear that don't allow them to see new equipment at a wash is hard to understand. This was the reason for developing the chasing lights for the vendor; hopefully it will get the attention of the customer at the wash. We see why bill validators, e-Ports, and other electronic equipment all have blinking or flashing LEDs on them; to get prople's attention. People's eyes see things but their brain does not register anything. Wax, let us know when you get ready for the chasing lights for your vendor.

Everyone on the forum is invited to our booth at the Car Care World Expo in May to see the chasing lights we have developed for the security cages and for the small Junior FL & RL vendors.

Uncle Sam :)
