spot free motor

1/2hp motor needs to be replaced. Have 2 -1/3hp motors that have the same specs. They have never been used and I no longer use the systems these motors were used for. Motor on spot free fills the holding tank and pumps water thru filters.
Anyone ever used a smaller motor?

It would help to know what pump the motor is driving and what pressure it's running at.

You should be Ok. We use 1/3hp motors on our Procon pumps.

I have a 1/3HP motor and procon on our SFR...I run it at 190 psi...So you should be ok, I would think....
