Spot Free in Bay1

Hello, When the spot free in any other bays starts working, water comes out of bay1 gun as well. Is this a mechanical issue (check valve) or an electrical issue? Thanks..... I'm thinking perhaps the Spot Free plunger is left open on bay1...

If you are running a Kip manifold for SFR, bay one may have an obstruction in the seat allowing SFR to bypass when pump is running. Just a guess without more information on your setup.

My wild a$$ guess would be that you’ve got some debris under the seat on the solenoid valve for bay #1 spot free. Take apart the solenoid valve and check for any debris under the seat. If it’s clear power up one of the other bays and use your voltmeter to check to see if you have any power to bay #1 spot free solenoid when the other bay is powered up and running.

Thanks guys yes there must have some debrit in bay1 solenoid valve. Opened and put it back on and bingo problem solved. But when i opened the valve there was water spraying out while no bay was working. Is it just to due gravity from the SF water in the tanks?

That's good an easy fix. Yes it's probably just gravity fed water from the spot free tank or from the bay hose going out to the bay.

yes, that is just some back pressure & or gravity. I hae had this Exact SAME PROBLEM many times. Did what you did each time & fixes it.

Man, does it feel good to tell someone else how to fix something! LOL
