Solenoid Valve cleaning??

I have an aquajet auto. and my solenoid valve that opens and closes to fill the tank keeps getting stuck. should i order a new part. or is that one of those pieces i can just take apart and clean to get it unstuck? If it gets stuck closed i can just hit it (the best fix at a car wash haha) and it will open. THANKS!
