slugbuster 11

Morning, I currently have Slugbuster 11 coin Mechs installed. I am currently leaning towards changing my value of tokens to $1.00 for each token. Just called Parker and they are not open for me to ask. I take both quarters and tokens in all bays and vacs. Both register as a quarter. Still want to take quarters, but now I would like the token to give a dollars worth of time. How do I increase the signal to timer for $1.00 inserted for each token used? This is a quess but I think all I would have to do is flip one of the switches on mech. Just need to know witch one or ones need to be changed. Thanks for the help.

It's been a long time since I've had Slugbusters. IIRC, they have 4 dip switches, labeled 1-2-4-8. You would want to turn on switches until they total the # of 25 cent pulses you desire. Your case would just be to turn on 4 and leave the others off.

I'm going back over a dozen years and could be thinking of a totally different piece of equipment :eek:

There are actually 5 dip switches on the SB II. 1-2-4-8-16. each one is a coin pulse. IB is correct, you only need the dip switch marked 4 to be turned on with the rest of the dip switches turned off to get the toekn to be worth $1.00.

If you look at the SB II that you have now set up for the token to be worth $0.25, dip switch 1 should be on with the rest in the off position.

You just have to combine (if needed) the dip switches for the amount of pulses you want for the token value desired.

1=1
2=2
1+2=3
4=4
4+1=5
4+2=6
4+2+1=7
8=8
8+1=9
8+2=10
8+2+1=11
8+4=12

etc. etc. etc.

I just wanted to add that 3yrs after switching to high security tokens i am still
finding people that want credit for .25 tokens that i only sold to businesses.
Make sure you have good tokens or you will be giving alot of time away.
The 85/15 or especially 70/30s will cost you money.
