My SS wash I am fixing to rehab has a shingle roof that will need to be replaced soon. I've noticed alot of other washes have metal roofs. Was wondering if this because of the bright colors you can use with metal? Would you go back with shingles or metal? Only reason I don't like metal is that it fades. The wash is a brown brick. Thanks.

Mine has metal over shingles. At the beginning of last summer, We painted it with Silver Bright. It was amazing how much cooler it was in the attic in the middle of summer. Instead of it being 140°, it was more like 100°....It really made a difference when I had to work up in the attic....
