RYKO Ultrasonic IBA Error Code 25

I have an arm that on the first presoak begins to pass in front of the car and does a 270 degree spin and bumps into the front bumper. The CAW gives an error code 25. I am assuming that it is a sensor or a switch that needs replaced.

Any advice?

Thanks

Could be a prox switch, motor or cabling. What is the four-digit code? The codes don't tell you what is wrong, but why the machine malfunctioned. For instance, a prox switch on too long error doesn't tell you why it was on too long. Could be a binding belt, slipping pulley, bad motor, etc. You have to figure out why, in my example, a prox switch stayed on too long. The error code does give you a good idea of where to where to start trouble shooting.

As Bill stated, it sounds like an arm rotation prox. If you have network, you can get the 4 digit codes from the CAW.

SOunds like an arm rotate prox is not functioning. There are 4 of them located above the wash arm. As it is turned 2 should always be on as they are triggered by a large 1/2 moon shaped peice of metal that goes around with the wash arm. If you look at each prox they should have a light on when the 1/2 moon metal plate is below them. IF one does not light up then you have a bad prox. If you find they all light up but still get no signal back to the PLC computer you probably have a bad cable somewhere. You can put a metal wrench in front of each prox to see if it is lighting up or not. SOmetimes all you have to do is adjust the prox switch a little closer to the metal plate. It also does not hurt to clean the bottom of the proxes off once in a while.
