Removing Lead push-pin anchors

Anyone have any new ideas on a way to "easily" remove those lead anchors that have the push-pin/drive pin in block walls? Over the years I've tried everything I can think of and I'm about to start a project that requires me to remove some more. Any great ideas out there?

Copperglobe,

Center punch dead center of the pin. Then use sharp bit to drill out the pin. The outer part will almost fall out then. A sharp chisel & is a time saver but also effective used sideways ... if you don't need to be concerned about damaging a surface. A vice grip can be used for the pin after the head is chiseled.

Why F around? Take out your grinder w/cutoff wheel and zip it off then grind smooth. If you're worried about the hole w/anchor portion still in it apply some clear silicone and move on to your next project.

It's my way, not textbook, perhaps.
