We have a customer, who has had one of our vendors on a 5-Bay self serve wash since 2003, add the e-Port credit card system earlier this year to the vendor. The monthly sales for the previous 14 months (before CC) averaged right at $500 per month. In the 7 months since installing the credit card in the vendor, the monthly sales average has grown to $690 per month. That computes to a 38% increase in monthly sales for the vendor. Even in these difficult economic times, credit cards can increase sales.

The trend toward cashless sales in every retail transaction is increasing every month and should continue to grow. Cashless sales are not subject to theft or loss either.
