Has anyone ever installed radiant tube heaters in a self-serve wash, can they be used in place of a radiant floor heat system?

I think you will burn a lot more fuel than if you had tubing in the floor. Is your floor heat shot?
Probably wouldnt work well if wind was blowing threw the bay

I have doors on one side only.

Its a 3 bay wash, when it gets really cold, for me 1 bay is enough to have open, rather than heat all 3 bays, my thinking is if you could use the Radiant heaters in one bay to keep the ice off the floors and possibly it would use less propane than trying to heat 3 bays, maybe not I don't know.
