Protecting my equipment from power surges

I’m looking for ideas to protect my wash select 2’s from power surges. I just had to work on all 5 of my ACW’s after losing power for two days from the hurricane. This is the third time in 8-9 years I’ve had to do this. This time I lost 3 power supplies, one motherboard, one credit card reader, one door board, one selection display. I’m using internet clearing for credit cards. Thanks for the responses.

I installed a voltage monitoring relay that automatically opens if the voltage goes too high or too low. I put it on the circuit before my Pay Station in the bottom of the Pay Station. I haven’t had any trouble since. I had a dump truck rip off the powerlines with his dump up and, toasted my HTK. I forget exactly which component it burned. I did a quick search online for what I installed, but I didn’t find it. I can try and get a picture of it when I’m at my wash.
