Process Boiler and Floor Heat Boiler Price

Folks,

I just had an estimate for a process boiler and radiant heat boiler replacement. Boilers Viessmann B2HA 95, and B2HA 112 respectively. Having a bit of sticker shock.

What kind of price should I be looking at for a removal of the old boiler and installation of a new boiler with storage tank. Ball park?

Thanks!

I just had a new boiler put in at one location this week. The new boiler was around a 300,000 btu gas. ONe guy had the old 500,000 btu boiler out of the equipment room in less than 3 hours. It took him the better part of 2 days to get the new installed. Boiler cost was 3600 but not sure of the labor yet. Check some prices from HuronValley on parts for comparison. I also added a new circulation pump for $600 and had a new storage tank vessel made by Huron Valley that was $600. Boiler guys in my area get $80 to $100 per hour for labor.

Most likely just a large commercial hot water heater or on demand water will be more than sufficient and save a lot on gas costs and install costs.

If you are just replacing parts of an existing system then I think that price is crazy. I can't imagine that installing a radiant heater and replacing a large boiler would be over 10K.

That's CRAZY! Pay no more than $15,000 for a boiler designed for a pool so it will not rust out. Still overkill using something like that. That thing better run for free for 10 years.
