Photoelectric Sensors

I have photo eyes on our Vector IBA that ice up whenever the temp is below 25 which is most of the time this time of year. Belanger offers heated eyes but they are going to cost me around $2500 per bay to make the switch. Any one know of a less expensive alternative?

The D&S 5000 has a short tube of stainless steel around the eyes with a 24V heat strip adhered to the inside. It should be simple to make something similar. Perhaps someone would take a picture of theirs and post it here, if you can't find one on the D&S site.
