Opinion's on growth in Carwash Detail & Lube.

Hey fella's have not posted in a while and was looking for some opinion's. I opened a Carwash, Quick Lube, & Detail Center 19 month's ago. I was looking for some opinion's on when you typically in these business's see growth level out. If i had to guess i would say somewhere around after your third full year or maybe sometime around 42 to 48 month's at the most. I know every business is different just looking for some ballpark opinion's. I also have gas and C-store on the site opened 27 month's gas i know is pretty much maxed out due to new competition, C-store will continue to grow for about another 12 to 18 month's. So looking for opinion's on detail, carwash, and quick lube which at this point are still growing well into the double digit area's. I have my own assumption's just curious what you pro's may think, any opnion's will be greatly apprecaited thank's.

I think it all depends upon your market.

On the carwash end and detail end there are many things you can do to continue to drive volume; cross marketing, discount days (carwash), fleet account sales, communtiy programs (charity washes).

I am attempting to build my volume for a good, solid 10 years. Sure there may be yaers where it dips down from previous year(s), but I am referring to a trend I am attempting to influence.

Since you are close, we should meet up and have lunch and talk.

Thank's for the responce Waxman i'm definitely doing all the thing's you said. I'm very happy with my growth, i guess i'm just trying to figure out when people start to see the growth slow down. I'm well into the double digit's as far as growth goes for 2009 over 8 month's of 2008. I will also say that January of 2010 shattered 2009 so just trying to figure out when it slow's down. If i have to guess i would say somewhere after 4 full year's then just industry growth. Whenever you want to come down let me know thank's again.
