Ontario...How are you going to deal with the RST?

As we've discussed in other postings, the 13% RST is coming next year. For those of you who currently embed the 5% GST in your SS, Vac, petwash & automatic prices...how are you going to deal with the 8% increase in sales taxes? Eat it, raise prices, combination of both?

I will be posting signs saying the new tax is now included in the price and I will be cutting back the time slightly to account for it. I charge $3 for 4 minutes and I will not raise the start up. I am not really happy about it at all. It really sucks to raise your prices only to benefit the government and P off my customers.

Well they passed it into law last week...gonna need to think about how I handle this one before the 1st of July.
