New Weepmizer sensor mounting

I had to replace my Dixmor weepmizer because the old style sensor is no longer available.
How are people mounting the new sensor? I’d prefer to not have it just hanging freely from the building

You don’t want to mount it on the building, like your old one. You want to mount the temperature sensor about 4 to 6 inches away from the building. I took a piece of thin aluminum about 2” wide and 7” long and bent it at 90 deg. drilled to holes it so I could mount it on the building, then took a couple of cable tie mounting pads put those on the “L” bracket and cable tied the sensor to the bracket. You want to mount the temperature senor about 4” to 6” away from the building so you don’t pick any heat from the building.
