Coinco has just released a new bill validator called the "Vantage". We just received our first one to install into one of our customer's vendors. Coinco has designed this validator to operate much better than the old Mag-Pro and Bill-Pro. Physically, it looks very similar to the Mars validators.
Some of the new features: Accepts $1-$20, 4 way bill acceptance, new anti-stringing technology, high bill acceptance, self diagnostics for trouble shooting, coupon acceptance, removal of validator body from bezel without the use of tools, and very high water resistance. I have heard that the insertion of a bill 2-3 times (after the validator gets wet) will dry it out to accept bills.
We never did like the Coinco validators very much in the past, but the price point looks good so we expect to use more of these Coinco validators in the future.
