I have 6 of the Doyle Vacs from 1988. I replace the "Vacuum" decals, hoses etc. every other year. The canisters still look like new.
I also clean and replace the bags on a regular basis, and motors as needed, of course.
I often have customers tell me my Doyle vacs are better than any others around.
I also have some newer Adams combos. They work well, but I see people use the air freshener and shampoo on them and use the old ones to vac.
The old Doyles are are a lot easier to clean than the combos.

What motors are you running in the Doyles? Are they 3 motor vacs?

My combos make about 20% more than the regular vacs.
You know Miles back in the day when I had washes in a lower demographic I used to see both a lot more of fragrance and shampoo usage. My newer washes are in nicer areas and I see much less use of those services. It's the same with vending.

Maybe this has been discussed before but I am wondering: Are some of the brand new overhead arch hose designed self service vacuums actually 1.5" hoses instead of 2"???
