The manufacturer of the AMS vendor has just released a new version of the software used in the vendor. This new software gives the operator more choices in how the vendor operates and adds new features. The newest feature that is available now is the ability of the vendor to accept 2 separate cashless devices. Prior to this release the vending machine could only accept a credit card reader or an ExpressKey or a WashCard or a Wickets RF reader. Now we have the ability to accept a credit card (Exacta, Visa, M/C, AE) AND WashCard or a Wickets RF reader or an ExpressKey.
We continue to recieve new versions of software about 2 times a year that fix glitches in the old software and add new features. We do not have any big problems with the software that is already in our installed base, but we are working on a way to upgrade the software in the installed base on a yearly schedule so that all operators can operate their vendor with the latest versions. It is our intention to keep all of our installed base working in the most effiecient manner possilble so that car wash operators can make vending profits with ease and confidence of operations.
