All it would take is a coin box and some signage! I would likely aim a camera at it too. I don't think there would be a more enjoyable way to make some spare change!

Many times, in my laundrymats, I would have an out of order sign on a piece of equipment and would find money in it later. A long time ago a guy ran an ad in the Wall Street J, I think that just said send me .25 he made a lot of money and when they tried to prosecute him, since he hadn't promised anything in return they had to drop the charges.
I've seen numerous instances of old and out-of-service equipment that a person of average intelligence could tell at a glance didn't work, but was opened up and found full of money. The best one was an auto cashier with no sort of label, bill acceptor or buttons in front of an auto bay with the doors rusted shut, but it had around $500 in quarters laying in the bottom of the empty cabinet. The machine had been out of service for 10 years, but some of the coins on top were new.
When I worked for SOHIO, we had a maintenance guy who made $2-300 a year just by asking employees at each stop he made during the day, if they would lend him a quarter.
